Her department created a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kudoboard.com\/cards\/retirement\/\">group retirement card<\/a> featuring kind messages from her colleagues, proud family, and grateful community members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kudoboard.com\/blog-assets\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/deena.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1896\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;It was truly great working with you on many things throughout the years that actually made a difference.&#8221;<\/p>\n<cite>Brian<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;You have always been an inspiration to me and make such a positive impact on those fortunate to cross your path. I look forward to what new adventures await for you.&#8221;<\/p>\n<cite>Laura<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;May you be proud of the work you have done, the person you are, and the difference you have made!&#8221;<\/p>\n<cite>Nicole<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"\/cards\/retirement\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kudoboard.com\/blog-assets\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Blog-Retirement-Banner-1024x407.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2677\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kudoboard.com\/blog-assets\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/deena2.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1897\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of COVID restrictions, friends, family, and colleagues were unable to celebrate Deena&#8217;s retirement in person, but a virtual retirement card allowed Deena to connect with others (including her former police department in a different state!) no matter where they were. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>What a great venue for so many occasions. Because of COVID we were unable to have a gathering and this allowed everyone a safe place to send well wishes. It also allowed those far away to participate. What a great keepsake! I plan to order it in book form. Thank you!<\/p><cite>&#8211; Deena<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re incredibly grateful for the brave women and men who put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe as they serve in police departments all over the world.
